As you have heard me say on multiple occasions, we are all equipped with unique strengths and talents. Some of us are better with customer engagement, some are better with administrative duties, while others are better with developing strategy. It takes a full spectrum of skills and talents to make the entire team successful. Leaders are skilled at getting what their team needs to perform their job at the greatest level possible. Effective leaders know how to listen to their team, and seek the needed resources to make them successful. THE role of the leader is to the be voice of the team, period! A team without an effective leader is stuck, a leader without a team to utilize the fruits of their effort is...pointless. A leader who believes they are 'above' their team is conventional, egotistical, and simply wrong!
