Failure is not a definition, it is an event, an event to be overcome. As it is not a definition, it thereby cannot define who a person is or is not. As a leader, we must tolerate the mistakes our team members make in the journey of becoming a better self, a better team member, and a better employee. Upon proper reflection, failure will lead to greater experiences, greater confidence, and greater outcomes. Love must be greater than our fear; to a team the leader's support must be greater than the team members' fear of harm for doing wrong. Allowing an environment of fear to seed will become toxic to the entire group.
